TNT's Michaela Dricoll took the top spot in the female division of the Cox Sports Marathon with a time of 2:56:09. The head coach of Coventry's girls cross country team and the assistant coach of the Oakers girls outdoor track team, Michaela Driscoll showed yesterday that she doesn't just talk the talk. She can also walk the walk - or rather, run the run. The 29-year-old Coventry resident celebrated the second marathon victory of her career.

"Senior runner of the year" award

for the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations for 2008.

Congratulations Martin, may the fountain of youth spring eternal.

TNT would like to congratulate Tim and Terry Porter. They recently completed the Las Vegas Marathon, and for Tim, this was a tremendous accomplishment. This was not only Tim's 53rd marathon, but his first since overcoming injuries suffered in a car accident over 5 years ago. Below is Terry Porter's account of the race, and Tim's return to marathoning.
