Sunday Morning Runs PDF Print E-mail

What is it?

On Sunday mornings, at 8:15AM, TNT holds training runs at the Zoot's side lot at the intersection of Cowessett Rd and Post Rd, about 1 mile south of Apponaug Village (kiddy corner to the 7-Eleven). These are the longer runs of 10, 13, and 16 miles. Other group training runs are held regularly on Tuesday Nights.

Runs begin at 8:15AM. All the courses start heading south on Post Rd, through the East Greenwich Hill and Harbour district and on toward (but not into) Goddard Park. All the courses run through rolling residential areas before returning to Post Rd and heading back through East Greenwich. After the run, many members gather at the nearby coffe joints to catch up with others.

Do I have to be a member?

Membership is not a requirement to participate, and we have members of all ages and abilities. All runners are encouraged to join us whether just to train, or to see what "turtle-dom" is all about prior to becoming a member.
